13		-	This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Promoting Opportuni-2
14		-	ties to Widen Electrical Resilience Act of 2025’’ or the 3
15		-	‘‘POWER Act of 2025’’. 4

26		-	electric utility may carry out cost-effective hazard 12
27		-	mitigation activities jointly or otherwise in combina-13
28		-	tion with activities for the restoration of power car-14
29		-	ried out with assistance provided under this section. 15

	38	+	electric utility may carry out cost-effective hazard 8
	39	+	mitigation activities jointly or otherwise in combina-9
	40	+	tion with activities for the restoration of power car-10
	41	+	ried out with assistance provided under this section. 11

31		-	LIGIBILITY FOR ADDITIONAL ASSIST -16
32		-	ANCE.— In any case in which an electric utility fa-17
33		-	cility receives assistance under this section for the 18
34		-	emergency restoration of power, the receipt of such 19
35		-	assistance shall not render such facility ineligible for 20
36		-	any hazard mitigation assistance under section 406 21
37		-	for which such facility is otherwise eligible.’’. 22 3

39		-	(b) APPLICABILITY.—The amendment made by sub-1
40		-	section (a) shall only apply to amounts appropriated on 2
41		-	or after the date of enactment of this Act. 3
