TIMING OF APPROVAL OF WILDLIFE CONSERVA-1 TION AND RESTORATION PROGRAM. 2 Section 4(e)(3) of the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife 3 Restoration Act (16 U.S.C. 669c(e)(3)) is amended— 4 (1) by inserting ‘‘, not later than 180 days after 5 the date on which the State submitted the com-6 prehensive plan,’’ after ‘‘, the Secretary’’; 7 (2) by striking ‘‘, as redesignated’’; 8 (3) by striking ‘‘If the Secretary’’ and inserting 9 ‘‘(A) If the Secretary’’; and 10 (4) by adding at the end the following: 11 ‘‘(B) If the Secretary finds under subpara-12 graph (A) that a comprehensive plan submitted 13 by a State complies with paragraph (1) and 14 does not approve the wildlife conservation and 15 restoration program of the State under sub-16 paragraph (A) within the 180-day period de-17 scribed in that subparagraph, the wildlife con-18 servation and restoration program of the State 19 shall be deemed to be approved by the Sec-20 retary under that subparagraph as of the date 21 on which the 180-day period ends and the Sec-22 retary shall set aside amounts as described in 23 that subparagraph.’’. 24 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 23:53 Mar 14, 2025 Jkt 059200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H1676.IH H1676 ssavage on LAPJG3WLY3PROD with BILLS
