37 | 37 | | lenges posed by such threat are not well understood; 9 |

41 | 41 | | tional Intelligence, must take steps to recognize, as-13 |

42 | 42 | | sess, and address such threat, thereby reducing risks 14 |

69 | 69 | | mediately preceding calendar year in which ter-9 |

70 | 70 | | rorist organizations have utilized or attempted 10 |

71 | 71 | | to utilize generative artificial intelligence appli-11 |

72 | 72 | | cations to carry out the following: 12 |

73 | 73 | | (i) Spread violent extremist messaging 13 |
---|
74 | 74 | | and facilitate the ability to radicalize and 14 |
---|
75 | 75 | | recruit individuals to violence. 15 |
---|
76 | 76 | | (ii) Enhance their ability to develop or 16 |
---|
77 | 77 | | deploy chemical, biological, radiological, or 17 |
---|
78 | 78 | | nuclear weapons. 18 |

80 | 80 | | measures to counter terrorism threats to the 20 |
