A BILL
To provide appropriations for the Food and Nutrition Act
of 2008 during the first lapse in appropriations in a
fiscal year.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Feed Our Families 4
Act of 2025’’. 5
SEC. 2. APPROPRIATIONS FOR SNAP DURING FIRST LAPSE 6
IN APPROPRIATIONS IN A FISCAL YEAR. 7
In the case of any fiscal year beginning after Sep-8
tember 30, 2024, there is appropriated, out of any money 9
in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sums as 10

are necessary to carry out the Food and Nutrition Act 1
of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.) for the first 90-day period 2
beginning on the first day of a lapse in discretionary ap-3
propriations for carrying out such Act for such fiscal year: 4
Provided, That such funds shall be placed in reserve for 5
use only in such amounts and at such times as may be-6
come necessary to carry out program operations: Provided 7
further, That such funds shall remain available until ex-8
pended. 9
