certain high-speed rail development project in the State
of California, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON PROVISION OF FEDERAL FI-3
NANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CERTAIN HIGH- 4
SPEED RAIL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. 5
No Federal financial assistance may be provided to 6
the State of California for a high-speed rail corridor devel-7
opment project that is the same or substantially similar 8
to the project that is the subject of Cooperative Agreement 9
No. FR–HSR–0118–12–01–01 entered into between the 10
