SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Marianas Air Service 4
Improvement Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. EXCEPTION FOR LOCATIONS IN NORTHERN MAR-6
IANA ISLANDS. 7
Section 41731(c) of title 49, United States Code, is 8
amended to read as follows: 9

‘‘(c) EXCEPTION FOR LOCATIONS INALASKA, HA-1
WAII, ANDNORTHERNMARIANAISLANDS.—Subpara-2
graphs (B), (C), and (D) of subsection (a)(1) shall not 3
apply with respect to locations in the State of Alaska, the 4
State of Hawaii, or the Northern Mariana Islands.’’. 5
