1717 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
1818 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Pit River Land Trans-4
1919 fer Act of 2025’’. 5
2020 SEC. 2. FINDINGS. 6
2121 Congress finds that— 7
2222 (1) the Four Corners land is located in the an-8
2323 cestral territory of the Pit River Tribe; and 9

3636 N GENERAL.—Subject to valid existing 7
3737 rights, the Four Corners Federal land is hereby 8
3838 taken into trust by the Secretary for the benefit of 9
3939 the Tribe. 10

4141 URVEY.—Not later than 180 days after 11
4242 the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of 12
4343 Agriculture shall provide to the Secretary a complete 13
4444 survey of the Four Corners Federal land. 14

4646 RANSFER OFFOURCORNERSFEELAND.— 15
4747 (1) I
4848 N GENERAL.—Not later than 180 days 16
4949 after the date of the enactment of this Act, at the 17
5050 request of the Tribe, the Secretary shall accept title 18
5151 to the Four Corners Fee land. 19
5252 (2) L
5353 AND TAKEN INTO TRUST .—Not later than 20
5454 180 days after the completion of the transfer of the 21
5555 title to the Four Corners Fee land to the Secretary 22
5656 pursuant to paragraph (1), the Secretary shall take 23
5757 the Four Corners Fee land into trust for the benefit 24
5858 of the Tribe. 25

6262 (c) ADMINISTRATION.—Upon being taken into trust 1
6363 under this section, the lands taken into trust by the Sec-2
6464 retary for the benefit of the Tribe shall be— 3
6565 (1) considered part of the Pit River Tribe Res-4
6666 ervation; and 5
6767 (2) administered by the Secretary in accordance 6
6868 with the laws and regulations generally applicable to 7
6969 property held in trust by the United States for an 8
7070 Indian Tribe. 9

7272 AMINGPROHIBITED.—Land taken into trust 10
7373 under this section shall not be used for any class II gam-11
7474 ing or class III gaming under the Indian Gaming Regu-12
7575 latory Act (25 U.S.C. 2701 et seq.) (as those terms are 13
7676 defined in section 4 of that Act (25 U.S.C. 2703)). 14

8282 N GENERAL.—The term ‘‘Four Cor-17
8383 ners Federal land’’ means the approximately 18
8484 583.79 acres of land managed by the Forest 19
8585 Service generally depicted within the ‘‘Proposed 20
8686 Land Conveyance’’ boundary on the Map, in-21
8787 cluding improvements and appurtenances there-22
8888 on. 23

9090 XCLUSION.—The term ‘‘Four Cor-24
9191 ners Federal land’’ does not include the ap-25

101101 ‘‘Four Corners Fee land’’ means the approximately 6
102102 40.18 acres of land generally depicted as ‘‘Tribal- 7
103103 Owned Property’’ on the Map. 8

105105 AP.—The term ‘‘Map’’ means the map ti-9
106106 tled ‘‘Proposed Land Conveyance to the Pit River 10
107107 Tribe’’ prepared by the Forest Service and dated 11

110110 ECRETARY.—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means 13
111111 the Secretary of the Interior. 14

113113 RIBE.—The term ‘‘Tribe’’ means the Pit 15
114114 River Tribe, California (includes XL Ranch, Big 16
115115 Bend, Likely, Lookout, Montgomery Creek, and 17
116116 Roaring Creek Rancherias). 18
