2424 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Georgian Nightmare 4
2525 Non-Recognition Act’’. 5

2929 SEC. 2. PROHIBITION OF RECOGNITION OF IVANISHVILI 1

3131 (a) S
3232 TATEMENT OFPOLICY.—It is the policy of the 3
3333 United States— 4
3434 (1) not to recognize or normalize relations with 5
3535 any Government of Georgia that is led by Bidzina 6
3636 Ivanishvili or any proxies due to the Ivanishvili re-7
3737 gime’s ongoing crimes against the Georgian people; 8
3838 (2) to actively oppose recognition or normaliza-9
3939 tion of relations by other governments with any Gov-10
4040 ernment of Georgia that is led by Bidzina Ivanishvili 11
4141 or any proxies, including by fully implementing the 12
4242 mandatory primary and secondary sanctions in Ex-13
4343 ecutive Order No. 14024; and 14
4444 (3) to use the full range of authorities, includ-15
4545 ing those provided under the Global Magnitsky Act 16
4646 and Executive Order No. 14024, to deter corrupt ac-17
4747 tivity or foreign influence operations by Georgia on 18
4848 behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, the Iranian 19
4949 regime, and the Russian Federation. 20

5151 ROHIBITION.—In accordance with subsection 21
5252 (a), no Federal official or employee may take any action, 22
5353 and no Federal funds may be made available, to recognize 23
5454 or otherwise imply, in any manner, United States recogni-24
5555 tion of Bidzina Ivanishvili or any Government in Georgia 25
5656 that is led by Bidzina Ivanishvili or any proxies. 26
