3737 SEC. 3. PROHIBITING ENROLLMENT IN THE MEDICAID PRO-10
3838 GRAM PRIOR TO VERIFICATION OF CITIZEN-11
3939 SHIP OR SATISFACTORY IMMIGRATION STA-12
4040 TUS; ENSURING ELIGIBILITY. 13
4141 Section 1902(a) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 14
4242 1396a(a)) is amended— 15
4343 (1) in paragraph (86), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the 16
4444 end; 17
4545 (2) in paragraph (87), by striking the period 18
4646 and inserting a semicolon; and 19
4747 (3) by inserting after paragraph (87) the fol-20
4848 lowing new paragraphs: 21
4949 ‘‘(88) provide that no individual is enrolled 22
5050 under such plan (or under a waiver of such plan) 23
5151 prior to the date that such State verifies that such 24
5252 individual is a citizen or national of the United 25

6161 to the income of such individual (as determined 6
6262 under subsection (e)(14)), the eligibility of such indi-7
6363 vidual is verified not less frequently than quar-8

6565 SEC. 4. LIMITING MEDICAID COVERAGE OF PAROLEES AND 10
6666 TPS AND DACA RECIPIENTS. 11

6868 NGENERAL.—Section 1903(v) of the Social Se-12
6969 curity Act (42 U.S.C. 1396b(v)) is amended— 13
7070 (1) in paragraph (2), in the matter preceding 14
7171 subparagraph (A), by inserting ‘‘or (5)’’ after ‘‘para-15
7272 graph (1)’’; and 16
7373 (2) by adding at the end the following new 17
7474 paragraph: 18
7575 ‘‘(5) Notwithstanding sections 401(a), 402(b), and 19
7676 403 of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity 20
7777 Reconciliation Act of 1996 and any other provision of this 21
7878 title, subject to paragraphs (2) and (4), no payment may 22
7979 be made to a State under this section for medical assist-23

9393 ‘‘(C) granted asylum under section 208 of such 10

9595 ‘‘(D) granted temporary protected status under 12
9696 section 244 of such Act; or 13
9797 ‘‘(E) granted withholding of removal under sec-14
9898 tion 241(b)(3) of such Act.’’. 15
