4242 N GENERAL.—Section 2713(a) of the Pub-7
4343 lic Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300gg–13(a)) is 8
4444 amended by adding at the end of the matter fol-9
4545 lowing paragraph (5), the following: ‘‘To be in com-10
4646 pliance with the requirement under paragraph (4), 11
4747 regardless of the guidelines described in such para-12
4848 graph, the Secretary shall require a group health 13
4949 plan or health insurance issuer offering group or in-14
5050 dividual health insurance coverage to permit an en-15
5151 rollee under such plan or coverage to obtain (includ-16
5252 ing in a single fill or refill), at the option of such 17
5353 individual, the total day supply (not to exceed a 365- 18
5454 day supply) for a contraceptive for which coverage is 19
5555 otherwise required without the imposition of any 20
5656 cost-sharing requirements pursuant to such para-21
5757 graph.’’. 22

5959 FFECTIVE DATE.—The amendment made 23
6060 by this section shall apply with respect to plan years 24
6161 beginning on or after January 1, 2026. 25

6565 (b) OUTREACH.—Beginning not later than 90 days 1
6666 after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary 2
6767 of Health and Human Services, the Secretary of Labor, 3
6868 and the Secretary of the Treasury shall jointly conduct 4
6969 such outreach activities as are necessary to inform health 5
7070 care providers and individuals who are enrolled (and who 6
7171 are eligible to enroll) in group health plans and group and 7
7272 individual health insurance coverage (as such terms are 8
7373 defined in section 2791 of the Public Health Service Act 9
7474 (42 U.S.C. 300gg–91)) of the benefit requirements applied 10
7575 pursuant to the amendment made by subsection (a)(1). 11
