2525 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Capping Prescription 4
2626 Costs Act of 2025’’. 5

3232 UALIFIEDHEALTHPLANS.—Section 1302(c) of 2
3333 the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (42 3
3434 U.S.C. 18022(c)) is amended— 4
3535 (1) in paragraph (3)(A)(i), by inserting ‘‘, in-5
3636 cluding cost-sharing with respect to prescription 6
3737 drugs covered by the plan’’ after ‘‘charges’’; and 7
3838 (2) by adding at the end the following: 8

4040 RESCRIPTION DRUG COST -SHARING.— 9
4141 ‘‘(A) 2026.—For plan years beginning in 10
4242 2026, the cost-sharing incurred under a health 11
4343 plan with respect to prescription drugs covered 12
4444 by the plan shall not exceed $2,000 per year for 13
4545 each enrolled individual, or $4,000 per year for 14
4646 each family. 15

8484 erage does not exceed the limitations provided for under 20
8585 paragraph (5) of section 1302(c) of the Patient Protection 21
