34 | 34 | | (3) In Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. 7 |
---|
35 | 35 | | President and Fellows of Harvard College, 143 S. 8 |
---|
36 | 36 | | Ct. 2141 (2023), the Supreme Court of the United 9 |
---|
37 | 37 | | States found race-based admissions policies to be in 10 |
---|
38 | 38 | | violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th 11 |
---|
39 | 39 | | Amendment to the Constitution of the United 12 |
---|
40 | 40 | | States. The Court further held that ‘‘universities 13 |
---|
41 | 41 | | may not simply establish through application essays 14 |
---|
42 | 42 | | or other means the regime we hold unlawful today’’. 15 |
