A BILL 
To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to prohibit 
certain advertising with respect to the Immigration De-
tention Ombudsman, and for other purposes. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘No Funding for Illegal 4
Migrant Billboards Act’’. 5

SPECT TO THE IMMIGRATION DETENTION 2
OMBUDSMAN. 3
Section 405 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 4
(6 U.S.C. 205) is amended by adding at the end the fol-5
lowing new subsection: 6
‘‘(f) A
DVERTISEMENT.—The Secretary may not obli-7
gate or expend any funds to advertise to the general pub-8
lic, by billboard or otherwise, the office or functions of the 9
Ombudsman.’’. 10
