40 | 40 | | as the ‘‘mapping effort’’) to survey and map, in high reso-8 |

41 | 41 | | lution, the lakebeds of the Great Lakes. 9 |

43 | 43 | | LEMENTS.—The mapping effort shall include— 10 |
---|
44 | 44 | | (1) completing a high-resolution map of the 11 |
---|
45 | 45 | | lakebeds of the Great Lakes; 12 |
---|
46 | 46 | | (2) collecting and processing high-resolution 13 |
---|
47 | 47 | | bathymetric data about the lakebeds of the Great 14 |
---|
48 | 48 | | Lakes; 15 |
---|
49 | 49 | | (3) using existing systems to catalog bathy-16 |
---|
50 | 50 | | metric data and other information regarding the 17 |
---|
51 | 51 | | lakebeds of the Great Lakes that the Administrator 18 |
---|
52 | 52 | | possesses or has access to independent of the map-19 |
---|
53 | 53 | | ping effort or as a result of the mapping effort; and 20 |
---|
54 | 54 | | (4) collecting, cataloging, and storing metadata 21 |
---|

58 | 58 | | fort, the Administrator shall coordinate with— 24 |

59 | 59 | | (1) the Governor of any State that borders any 25 |

82 | 82 | | the high-resolution map of the lakebeds of the Great 18 |

85 | 85 | | 180 days after completing the mapping effort— 21 |
