2222 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
2323 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Advanced Border Co-4
2424 ordination Act of 2025’’. 5
2525 SEC. 2. ESTABLISHMENT OF JOINT OPERATIONS CENTERS. 6
2626 (a) I
2727 NGENERAL.—Not later than 6 months after the 7
2828 date of enactment of this Act, the Department shall estab-8

3333 southern border of the United States to provide unified 2
3434 coordination centers, where law enforcement from multiple 3
3535 Federal, State, local, and Tribal agencies can collaborate 4
3636 in accordance with the purposes described in subsection 5
3737 (b). 6
3838 (b) M
3939 ATTERSCOVERED.—The Centers shall provide 7
4040 centralized operations hubs for matters related to the fol-8
4141 lowing: 9
4242 (1) Implementing coordination and communica-10
4343 tion for field operations between participating Fed-11
4444 eral, State, local, and Tribal agencies, as needed. 12
4545 (2) Coordinating operations across participating 13
4646 Federal, State, local, and Tribal agencies, as needed, 14
4747 including ground, air, and sea or amphibious oper-15
4848 ations. 16
4949 (3) Coordinating and supporting border oper-17
5050 ations, including deterring and detecting criminal ac-18
5151 tivity related to— 19
5252 (A) transnational criminal organizations; 20
5353 (B) illegal border crossings; 21
5454 (C) the seizure of weapons; 22
5555 (D) the seizure of drugs; 23
5656 (E) the seizure of high valued property; 24
5757 (F) terrorism; 25

6262 (H) drug trafficking; and 2
6363 (I) such additional matters as the Sec-3
6464 retary considers appropriate. 4

6666 NFORMATION SHARING.—To ensure effective 5
6767 transmission of information between participating Fed-6
6868 eral, State, local, and Tribal agencies, for purposes of sub-7
6969 section (b), coordination and communication shall in-8
7070 clude— 9
7171 (1) Federal agencies sharing pertinent informa-10
7272 tion with participating State, local, and Tribal agen-11
7373 cies through the Centers; and 12
7474 (2) Federal agencies notifying participating 13
7575 State, local, and Tribal agencies of operations occur-14
7676 ring within the jurisdictions of those agencies. 15

7878 ORKFORCE CAPABILITIES.—The Centers 16
7979 shall— 17
8080 (1) track and coordinate deployment of partici-18
8181 pating personnel; and 19
8282 (2) coordinate training, as needed. 20

8484 EPORT.—Not later than one year after the date 21
8585 of the enactment of this Act and annually thereafter, the 22
8686 Secretary shall consult with participating Federal agen-23
8787 cies, and shall seek feedback from participating State, 24
8888 local, and Tribal agencies, to report to Congress— 25

9393 establish the Centers; 2
9494 (2) an identification of the resources used for 3
9595 the operations of the Centers; 4
9696 (3) a description of the key operations coordi-5
9797 nated and supported by each Center; 6
9898 (4) a description of any significant interoper-7
9999 ability and communication gaps identified between 8
100100 participating Federal, State, local, and Tribal agen-9
101101 cies within each Center; 10
102102 (5) recommendations for improved coordination 11
103103 and communication between participating Federal 12
104104 agencies in developing and operating current and fu-13
105105 ture Centers; and 14
106106 (6) other data as the Secretary determines ap-15
107107 propriate. 16
