To repeal the natural gas tax.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Natural Gas Tax Re-4
peal Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. REPEAL. 6
Section 136 of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7
7436)(relating to methane emissions and waste reduction 8
incentive program for petroleum and natural gas systems) 9
is repealed. 10

SEC. 3. RESCISSION. 1
The unobligated balance of any amounts made avail-2
able under section 136 of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 3
7436)(as in effect on the day before the date of enactment 4
of this Act) is rescinded. 5
