Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. CONVEYANCE OF SPECIFIED FOREST SERVICE 3 PROPERTY TO PERRY COUNTY, ARKANSAS. 4 (a) R EQUIREDCONVEYANCE.—Subject to this sec-5 tion, if the County submits to the Secretary a written re-6 quest for conveyance of the property described in sub-7 section (b) not later than 180 days after the date of enact-8 ment of this Act, the Secretary shall convey to the County 9 VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:28 May 10, 2025 Jkt 059200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H3187.IH H3187 ssavage on LAPJG3WLY3PROD with BILLS 2 •HR 3187 IH all right, title, and interest of the United States in and 1 to the property described in subsection (b). 2 (b) D ESCRIPTION OFPROPERTY.— 3 (1) I N GENERAL.—The property referred to in 4 subsection (a) is the parcel of real property, includ-5 ing all land and improvements, generally referred to 6 as parcel 850–10555–001 in the urban property 7 records of the County, consisting of approximately 8 0.81 acres of Forest Service land located at 1069 9 Fourche Avenue, Perryville, Arkansas 72126. 10 (2) S URVEY.—The exact acreage and legal de-11 scription of land to be conveyed under subsection (a) 12 shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the 13 Secretary. 14 (c) T ERMS AND CONDITIONS.—The conveyance 15 under subsection (a) shall be— 16 (1) subject to valid existing rights; 17 (2) made without consideration; 18 (3) made by quitclaim deed; and 19 (4) subject to such other terms and conditions 20 as the Secretary considers to be appropriate to pro-21 tect the interests of the United States. 22 (d) C OSTS OFCONVEYANCE.—As a condition of the 23 conveyance under subsection (a), the County shall pay all 24 VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:28 May 10, 2025 Jkt 059200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H3187.IH H3187 ssavage on LAPJG3WLY3PROD with BILLS 3 •HR 3187 IH costs associated with the conveyance, including the cost 1 of— 2 (1) a survey, if necessary, under subsection 3 (b)(2); 4 (2) any environmental analysis or resources 5 survey required under Federal law; and 6 (3) any analysis required to comply with divi-7 sion A of subtitle III of title 54, United States Code 8 (commonly referred to as the ‘‘National Historic 9 Preservation Act’’). 10 (e) E NVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS.—Notwith-11 standing section 120(h)(3)(A) of the Comprehensive Envi-12 ronmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 13 1980 (42 U.S.C. 9620(h)(3)(A)), the Secretary shall not 14 be required to provide any covenant or warranty for the 15 property and improvements conveyed to the County under 16 subsection (a). 17 (f) D EFINITIONS.—In this section: 18 (1) C OUNTY.—The term ‘‘County’’ means Perry 19 County, Arkansas. 20 (2) S ECRETARY.—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means 21 the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the 22 Chief of the Forest Service. 23 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:28 May 10, 2025 Jkt 059200 PO 00000 Frm 00003 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H3187.IH H3187 ssavage on LAPJG3WLY3PROD with BILLS
