38 | 38 | | ULES OFCONSTRUCTION.—Nothing in this Act 7 |

39 | 39 | | shall be construed as— 8 |

40 | 40 | | (1) authorizing the Secretary of the Interior or 9 |

41 | 41 | | the Secretary of Agriculture to raise the price of any 10 |
---|
42 | 42 | | of the activities through which revenue is generated 11 |
---|
43 | 43 | | on covered public lands; or 12 |
---|
44 | 44 | | (2) reducing amounts made available to States, 13 |
---|
45 | 45 | | Indian Tribes, territories, or local governments from 14 |
---|
46 | 46 | | revenue generated by covered public lands. 15 |

48 | 48 | | OVEREDPUBLICLANDSDEFINED.—In this 16 |
---|
49 | 49 | | Act, the term ‘‘covered public lands’’ means any land 17 |
---|
50 | 50 | | under the administrative jurisdiction— 18 |
---|
51 | 51 | | (1) of the Department of the Interior, including 19 |
---|
52 | 52 | | submerged lands on the Outer Continental Shelf (as 20 |
---|
53 | 53 | | such term is defined in section 2 of the Outer Conti-21 |
---|
54 | 54 | | nental Shelf Lands Act (43 U.S.C. 1331); or 22 |
---|
