with the Kingdom of Denmark to secure the acquisition
of Greenland by the United States.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Make Greenland Great 4
Again Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS 1
WITH THE KINGDOM OF DENMARK. 2
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Congress hereby authorizes the 3
President, beginning at 12:01 p.m. Eastern Standard 4
Time on January 20, 2025, to seek to enter into negotia-5
tions with the Kingdom of Denmark to secure the acquisi-6
tion of Greenland by the United States. 7
(b) T
RANSMISSION OFAGREEMENT.—Not later than 8
5 calendar days after reaching an agreement with the 9
Kingdom of Denmark relating to the acquisition of Green-10
land by the United States, the President shall transmit 11
to the appropriate congressional committees the agree-12
ment, including all related materials and annexes. 13
(c) P
ERIOD OFREVIEW BYCONGRESS OFAGREE-14
MENT.— 15
(1) I
N GENERAL.—The period for congressional 16
review for any agreement described in subsection (a) 17
shall be 60 calendar days from the date on which 18
the President transmits to the appropriate Congres-19
sional committees the agreement for the acquisition 20
of Greenland from the Kingdom of Denmark. 21
(2) E
FFECTIVE DATE.—If no joint resolution of 22
disapproval is enacted by Congress within the 60- 23
calendar day period, the agreement described in sub-24
section (a) shall be in effect and take the full force 25
of law. 26

gressional committees’’ means— 3
