34 | 34 | | than $110,000,000 for border security. 9 |

35 | 35 | | (B) In 2010–2011, Texas allocated more 10 |

36 | 36 | | than $120,000,000 for border security. 11 |

37 | 37 | | (C) In 2012–2013, Texas allocated more 12 |

38 | 38 | | than $222,100,000 for border security. 13 |

60 | 60 | | SEC. 3. REIMBURSEMENT. 7 |

62 | 62 | | UALIFICATION.—Notwithstanding any other 8 |
---|
63 | 63 | | provision of law, States that have expended more than 9 |
---|
64 | 64 | | $2,500,000,000 on border security and enforcement in 10 |
---|
65 | 65 | | support of Federal efforts in the ten years prior to the 11 |
---|
66 | 66 | | date of the enactment of this Act shall have all associated 12 |
---|
67 | 67 | | expenses reimbursed. 13 |

68 | 68 | | (b) A |
---|
69 | 69 | | PPLICATION.—Not later than 180 days after the 14 |
---|
70 | 70 | | date of the enactment of this Act, the Governors of eligible 15 |
---|
71 | 71 | | States shall submit— 16 |
---|
72 | 72 | | (1) an accounting of all non-federally funded 17 |
---|
73 | 73 | | border security expenses incurred by the State and 18 |
---|
74 | 74 | | its municipalities; and 19 |
---|
75 | 75 | | (2) the total sum of such expenses. 20 |

77 | 77 | | EIMBURSEMENT.—Not later than 1 year after 21 |
---|
78 | 78 | | the date on which the State submits the application pursu-22 |
---|
79 | 79 | | ant to subsection (b), the Federal Government shall reim-23 |
---|
80 | 80 | | burse such expenses pursuant to subsection (a). 24 |
