in the Armed Forces, and for other purposes.

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Eliminate DEI in the 4
Military Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR DIVERSITY, 1
EQUITY, AND INCLUSION ACTIVITIES IN THE 2
MILITARY. 3
(a) I
NGENERAL.—No Federal funds may be obli-4
gated or expended for any DEI activity of— 5
(1) an Armed Force; 6
(2) a national service academy; or 7
(3) the Department of Defense. 8
(b) D
EFINITIONS.—In this section: 9
(1) The term ‘‘DEI activity’’ includes, with re-10
spect to diversity, equity, and inclusion— 11
(A) a training; 12
(B) a program; 13
(C) educational material; 14
(D) a position of employment; and 15
(E) an appointment. 16
(2) The term ‘‘national service academy’’ means 17
the United States Military Academy, the United 18
States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force 19
Academy, the United States Coast Guard Academy, 20
or the United States Merchant Marine Academy. 21
