To direct the Attorney General to conduct a study on the
efficacy of extreme risk protection orders on reducing
gun violence, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. STUDY ON EXTREME RISK PROTECTION OR-3
DERS. 4
Not later than one year after the date of enactment 5
of this Act, the Attorney General, acting through the Di-6
rector of the Bureau of Justice Assistance, shall conduct 7
a study on the efficacy of extreme risk protection orders 8
on reducing gun violence. 9
