To amend the Food Security Act of 1985 to increase funding
for the conservation stewardship program, and for other
purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. ANNUAL FUNDING. 3
Section 1241(a)(3)(B) of the Food Security Act of 4
1985 (16 U.S.C. 3841(a)(3)(B)) is amended to read as 5
follows: 6
‘‘(B) for the conservation stewardship pro-7
gram under subchapter B of that chapter, 8
$1,800,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2025 9
through 2031.’’. 10

SEC. 2. TRANSFER OF FUNDS. 1
$5,020,000,000 of the unobligated balances of 2
amount appropriated or otherwise made available under 3
section 21001 of Public Law 117–169 (commonly referred 4
to ask the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022) is hereby 5
transferred to the Secretary of Agriculture to carry out, 6
using the facilities and authorities of the Commodity Cred-7
it Corporation, the conservation stewardship program 8
under subchapter B of chapter 4 of subtitle D of title XII 9
of the Food Security Act of 1985 (16 U.S.C. 3839aa–21 10
et seq.). 11
