A BILL
To direct the Director of the Bureau of Prisons to provide
information on certain persons under the jurisdiction
of the Bureau of Prisons to the Mayor of the District
of Columbia, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘District of Columbia 4
Code Returning Citizens Coordination Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. PROVISION OF INFORMATION TO THE DISTRICT OF 1
COLUMBIA RELATED TO CERTAIN PERSONS 2
UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE BUREAU 3
OF PRISONS. 4
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Di-5
rector of the Bureau of Prisons shall provide to the Mayor 6
of the District of Columbia for each person under the ju-7
risdiction of the Bureau of Prisons pursuant to the Na-8
tional Capital Revitalization and Self-Government Im-9
provement Act of 1997 (Public Law 105–33), the fol-10
lowing: 11
(1) Every 90 days, the following information: 12
(A) The name, age, and Federal Register 13
Number of the person. 14
(B) The facility where the person is 15
housed. 16
(C) The scheduled release date. 17
(2) Upon the request of the Mayor, the infor-18
mation that the Director provides for such person to 19
the Director of the Court Services and Offender Su-20
pervision Agency for the District of Columbia. 21
SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA DISCLO-22
SURE. 23
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the 24
Mayor of the District of Columbia may not disclose the 25

information provided pursuant to this Act outside of the 1
District of Columbia government, except that the Mayor— 2
(1) may not provide such information to any 3
District of Columbia law enforcement agency; and 4
(2) may provide the information provided under 5
paragraph (1) of section 2 to counsel for the per-6
sons, and to organizations that provide legal rep-7
resentation to persons in criminal or post-conviction 8
matters, or in matters related to reentry. 9
