SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 1
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Securing America’s 2
Land from Foreign Interference Act’’. 3
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON PURCHASE OF PUBLIC OR PRI-4
VATE REAL ESTATE LOCATED IN THE UNITED 5
STATES BY MEMBERS OF THE CHINESE COM-6
MUNIST PARTY AND ENTITIES THAT ARE 7
UNDER THE OWNERSHIP, CONTROL, OR IN-8
FLUENCE OF THE CHINESE COMMUNIST 9
PARTY. 10
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Notwithstanding any other provi-11
sion of law, the President shall take such actions as may 12
be necessary to prohibit the purchase of public or private 13
real estate located in the United States by members of 14
the Chinese Communist Party and entities that are under 15
the ownership, control, or influence of the Chinese Com-16
munist Party. 17
(b) U
NITEDSTATESDEFINED.—The term ‘‘United 18
States’’ means the several States, the District of Colum-19
bia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Common-20
wealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American 21
Samoa, Guam, the United States Virgin Islands, and any 22
other territory or possession of the United States. 23
