INCREASING SUPPORT FOR PHYSICIANS AND 1 OTHER PRACTITIONERS IN ADJUSTING TO 2 MEDICARE PAYMENT CHANGES. 3 (a) I NGENERAL.—Section 1848(t) of the Social Se-4 curity Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w–4(t)) is amended— 5 (1) in the header, by striking ‘‘2024’’ and in-6 serting ‘‘2025’’; and 7 (2) in paragraph (1)— 8 (A) in the matter preceding subparagraph 9 (A), by striking ‘‘2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024’’ 10 and inserting ‘‘2021 through 2025’’; 11 (B) in subparagraph (D), by striking 12 ‘‘and’’ at the end; 13 (C) in subparagraph (E), by striking the 14 period and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and 15 (D) by adding at the end the following new 16 subparagraph: 17 ‘‘(F) such services furnished on or after 18 April 1, 2025, and before January 1, 2026, by 19 6.62 percent.’’. 20 (b) C ONFORMING AMENDMENT.—Section 21 1848(c)(2)(B)(iv)(V) of the Social Security Act (42 22 U.S.C. 1395w–4(c)(2)(B)(iv)(V)) is amended by striking 23 ‘‘2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024’’ and inserting ‘‘any of years 24 2021 through 2025’’. 25 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 23:01 Feb 27, 2025 Jkt 059200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H879.IH H879 ssavage on LAPJG3WLY3PROD with BILLS
