A BILL
To temporarily provide additional deposits into the Crime
Victims Fund.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Crime Victims Fund 4
Stabilization Act of 2025’’. 5
SEC. 2. DEPOSITS IN CRIME VICTIMS FUND. 6
Section 1402(b)(6) of the Victims of Crime Act of 7
1984 (34 U.S.C. 20101) is amended— 8
(1) in subparagraph (A), by striking ‘‘or’’ at 9
the end; 10

(2) in subparagraph (B), by striking the period 1
at the end and inserting ‘‘; or’’; and 2
(3) by adding at the end the following: 3
‘‘(C) from the date of enactment of the 4
Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act of 2025 5
through fiscal year 2029, sections 3729 through 6
3731 of title 31, United States Code (commonly 7
known as the ‘False Claims Act’), provided 8
that— 9
‘‘(i) amounts necessary to remunerate 10
qui tam plaintiffs as described in sub-11
section (d) of section 3730 of title 31, 12
United States Code, are not available for 13
deposit to the Fund; and 14
‘‘(ii) amounts necessary to reimburse 15
the United States Government for the 16
damages which the Government sustains 17
from acts described in subsection (a) of 18
section 3729 of title 31, United States 19
Code, are not available for deposit to the 20
Fund.’’. 21
