Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Defending Domestic 4
Orange Juice Production Act of 2025’’. 5

SEC. 2. REVISION OF PASTEURIZED ORANGE JUICE STAND-1
ARDS. 2
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Effective on the date of enact-3
ment of this Act, the standard of identity for ‘‘pasteurized 4
orange juice’’, established in section 146.140 of title 21, 5
Code of Federal Regulations (or any successor regula-6
tions), shall be deemed to require finished pasteurized or-7
ange juice to contain not less than 10.0 percent by weight 8
of orange juice soluble solids, exclusive of the solids of any 9
added optional sweetening ingredients. 10

EGULATIONAUTHORITY.—Nothing in this sec-11
tion shall be construed to limit the authority of the Sec-12
retary of Health and Human Services to promulgate regu-13
lations to amend the standard of identity for pasteurized 14
orange juice. 15
