AN ACT
To amend title 38, United States Code, to improve the
processes to approve programs of education for purposes
of the educational assistance programs of the Depart-
ment of Veterans Affairs, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 1
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Veterans Education 2
Transparency and Training Act’’ or the ‘‘VETT Act’’. 3
SEC. 2. PROCESSES TO APPROVE PROGRAMS OF EDU-4
CATION FOR PURPOSES OF THE EDU-5
CATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS OF THE 6
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS. 7

ORMS.—Section 3679(f)(5) of title 38, United States 10
Code, is amended— 11
(1) in subparagraph (A), by striking ‘‘this para-12
graph’’ and inserting ‘‘this subparagraph’’; 13
(2) in subparagraph (B), by striking ‘‘this para-14
graph’’ and inserting ‘‘subparagraph (A)’’; and 15
(3) by adding at the end the following new sub-16
paragraph: 17
‘‘(C) If an educational institution cannot provide to 18
an individual a form under paragraph (1) that contains 19
all of the information required under subparagraph (A) 20
of such paragraph, the educational institution shall pro-21
vide to such individual, with the form under such para-22
graph, a notice— 23
‘‘(i) that specifies what such information may 24
be inaccurate or incomplete; and 25 3

‘‘(ii) that includes, in place of the information 1
that may be inaccurate or incomplete, the best esti-2
mate available on the date of such notice.’’. 3

UBLICATION OFINFORMATIONABOUTTRAIN-4
ING FORSCHOOLCERTIFYINGOFFICIALS.—The Sec-5
retary of Veterans Affairs shall establish a website to serve 6
as a central location for the publication of information 7
about the training that the Department of Veterans Af-8
fairs provides for school certifying officials and shall up-9
date such information on a regular basis. 10
