RESOLUTION
Amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to
establish a Committee on Health as a standing com-
mittee of the House.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 2
This resolution may be cited as the ‘‘House Endeavor 3
to Accelerate a Legislative Transformation of Healthcare 4
Act’’ or the ‘‘HEALTH Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMITTEE ON HEALTH. 6
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Clause 1 of rule X of the Rules 7
of the House of Representatives is amended— 8
(1) by redesignating paragraphs (j) through (t) 9
as paragraphs (k) through (u); and 10

care supported by general revenues (except vet-7
erans’ hospitals, medical care, and treatment of 8
veterans). 9
‘‘(C) Public health and quarantine, includ-10
ing the Centers for Disease Control and Pre-11
vention.’’. 12

OMMITTEE ON EDUCATION AND THE 15
WORKFORCE.—Clause 1(e)(6) of such rule is amend-16
ed by striking ‘‘generally’’ and inserting ‘‘generally 17
(except health insurance programs)’’. 18
(2) C
OMMITTEE ON ENERGY AND COMMERCE .— 19
Clause 1(f) of such rule is amended— 20
(A) by striking subparagraphs (1), (3), 21
and (12); and 22
(B) by redesignating the remaining sub-23
paragraphs accordingly. 24
