20 | 20 | | unprovoked, and brutal war against Ukraine includes ex- |

21 | 21 | | tensive, systematic, and flagrant atrocities against the |
---|
22 | 22 | | people of Ukraine; |
---|
23 | 23 | | Whereas Article II of the Convention on the Prevention and |
---|
24 | 24 | | Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (hereinafter the |

25 | 25 | | ‘‘Genocide Convention’’), approved and opened for signa- |

26 | 26 | | ture in 1948 and entered into force in 1951, defines |

27 | 27 | | genocide as ‘‘any of the following acts committed with in- |

28 | 28 | | tent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, |

89 | 89 | | mitting war crimes in Bucha and elsewhere were re- |

91 | 91 | | Whereas the Russian State-owned media outlet RIA Novosti’s |

93 | 93 | | Ukraine’’ which outlines ‘‘de-Nazification’’ as meaning |

94 | 94 | | ‘‘de-Ukrainianization’’ or the destruction of Ukraine; |
