3030 Whereas, on March 4, 2025, during the joint session of Con-
3131 gress convened by the invitation of the House and Sen-
3232 ate, Representative Al Green of Texas engaged in behav-
3333 ior that interrupted President Donald J. Trump’s ad-
3434 dress to a joint session of Congress, violating decorum
3535 and order expected of Members of Congress;
3636 Whereas pursuant to Rule I of the One Hundred Nineteenth
3737 Congress of the House of Representatives, the Speaker of

4343 Whereas Members of Congress were advised by the Speaker

4545 Whereas Representative Green willfully disrupted the joint
4646 session, remained defiant, and was subsequently removed
4747 by the House Sergeant at Arms from the chamber; and
4848 Whereas the actions of Representative Green brought disre-
4949 pute to the United States Congress: Now, therefore, be

5252 (1) Representative Al Green of Texas be cen-2

5454 (2) Representative Al Green forthwith present 4
5555 himself in the well of the House of Representatives 5
5656 for the pronouncement of censure; and 6

5858 the public reading of this resolution by the Speaker. 8
