RESOLUTION
Removing certain Members from standing committees of the
House of Representatives.
Whereas clause I of rule XXIII of the Rules of the House
of Representatives provides, ‘‘A Member, Delegate, Resi-
dent Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House
shall behave at all times in a manner that shall reflect
creditably on the House.’’; and
Whereas several Representatives should be removed from
their committee assignments in light of conduct they ex-
hibited on the floor of the House on March 6, 2025:
Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That not later than one week following the 1
passage of this resolution, the Sergeant at Arms of the 2
House of Representatives shall provide a determination as 3

to which Members ignored the Speaker’s directive to leave 1
the Well of the House on March 6, 2025, and those indi-2
viduals shall, upon submission of that list to the Speaker, 3
be removed from any standing committee on which they 4
currently serve for the remainder of the 119th Congress. 5
