2121 Designating March 27, 2025, as ‘‘National Women in
2222 Agriculture Day’’.
2323 Whereas the United States proudly recognizes agriculture as
2424 one of the most impactful industries of the United States
2525 and acknowledges the countless women who help agri-
2626 culture prosper both in the United States and abroad;
2727 Whereas there are more than 1,200,000 female agricultural
2828 producers in the United States, making up more than

3131 of the agricultural producers in the United States;
3232 Whereas, in 2022, farms operated by women in the United
3333 States sold $222,000,000,000 in agricultural products,

3737 accounting for 36 percent of the total agriculture sales in
3838 the United States for that year;
3939 Whereas, in addition to leading farming operations, women
4040 working in agriculture make a difference across the
4141 United States in various commodity and industry fields,
4242 including research and development, manufacturing, sales
4343 and distribution, agricultural education, agribusiness, and
4444 advocacy, which extend benefits to individuals across the
4545 globe through the international trade of the United
4646 States;
4747 Whereas the United States recognizes that women are vital
4848 in fostering the next generation of the agricultural work-
4949 force by promoting science, technology, engineering,
5050 mathematics, and agricultural education and entrepre-
5151 neurial and community initiatives by serving as mentors
5252 for the 4–H Program, the National FFA Organization,
5353 the Cooperative Extension System, and numerous post-
5454 secondary agricultural science educator programs;
5555 Whereas March is National Women’s History Month; and
5656 Whereas female professionals, instructors, and leaders in the
5757 agricultural field should be celebrated for their efforts
5858 during National Ag Week, which takes place between
5959 March 23 and March 29, 2025: Now, therefore, be it
6060 Resolved, That the House of Representatives— 1
6161 (1) recognizes the important role of women in 2
6262 agriculture as producers, educators, leaders, men-3
6363 tors, and more; and 4
6464 (2) encourages all citizens to— 5
6565 (A) recognize women working in agri-6
