RESOLUTION
Of inquiry requesting the President, and directing the Sec-
retary of Health and Human Services, to transmit re-
spectively, to the House of Representatives certain docu-
ments relating to the elimination of the Administration
for Community Living.
Resolved, That the President is requested, and the 1
Secretary of Health and Human Services is directed, to 2
transmit respectively, to the House of Representatives, not 3
later than 14 days after the date of the adoption of this 4
resolution, unredacted copies of all documents, memo-5
randa, legal opinions, notes from meetings, records (in-6

cluding telephone records, electronic mail records, and 1
screen shots), correspondence (electronic or otherwise), 2
and other communications (or any portion of any such 3
communications) that are in the possession of the Presi-4
dent or the Secretary, respectively, that refer or relate to 5
the following: 6
(1) The proposed elimination of the Administra-7
tion for Community Living. 8
(2) Any reduction in force or other downsizing 9
measures at the Administration for Community Liv-10
ing. 11
(3) Any action taken pursuant to the Health 12
and Human Services March 27, 2025, communica-13
tion ‘‘HHS Announces Transformation to Make 14
America Healthy Again’’, and the accompanying 15
Fact Sheet, resulted in the alteration of the func-16
tions and responsibilities of the Administration for 17
Community Living. 18
(4) Any action taken to dismiss career staff in 19
leadership positions within the Administration for 20
Community Living. 21
(5) Any determination made by the Executive 22
Office of the President, the Secretary of Health and 23
Human Services, the Principal Deputy Adminis-24
trator for the Administration for Community Living, 25

or the staff of the Department of Health and 1
Human Services or the Administration for Commu-2
nity Living, that the staff remaining at the Depart-3
ment after any reduction in force, other downsizing 4
measure, or closure would be sufficient to ensure 5
that the Administrator, the individual designated 6
with the responsibilities of the Administrator if that 7
position no longer exists, or the Assistant Secretary 8
of Aging, as appropriate, could faithfully execute the 9
laws Congress has directed the Administrator or the 10
Assistant Secretary of Aging, as appropriate, to en-11
force or implement, including but not limited to— 12
(A) the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 13
U.S.C. 3001); 14
(B) the Assistive Technology Act of 2004 15
(AT Act) (29 U.S.C. 3001 et seq.); 16
(C) the Developmental Disabilities Assist-17
ance and Bill of Rights Act (DD ACT) (42 18
U.S.C. 15001 et seq.); and 19
(D) the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 20
U.S.C. 701 et seq.). 21
(6) Any action taken to terminate a grant 22
awarded by the Department through the Adminis-23
tration for Community Living. 24
