3131 Whereas providing a diversity of choices in K–12 education
3232 empowers parents to select education environments that
3333 meet the individual needs and strengths of their children;
3434 Whereas high-quality K–12 education environments of all va-
3535 rieties are available in the United States, including tradi-
3636 tional public schools, public charter schools, public mag-

4242 Whereas talented teachers and school leaders in each of the
4343 education environments prepare children to achieve their
4444 dreams;
4545 Whereas more families than ever before in the United States
4646 actively choose the best education for their children;
4747 Whereas more public awareness of the issue of parental
4848 choice in education can inform additional families of the
4949 benefits of proactively choosing challenging, motivating,
5050 and effective education environments for their children;
5151 Whereas the process by which parents choose schools for
5252 their children is nonpolitical, nonpartisan, and deserves
5353 the utmost respect; and
5454 Whereas tens of thousands of events are planned to celebrate
5555 the benefits of educational choice during the 14th annual
5656 National School Choice Week, held the week of January
5757 26 through February 1, 2025: Now, therefore, be it
5858 Resolved, That the House of Representatives— 1
5959 (1) supports the designation of ‘‘National 2
6060 School Choice Week’’; 3
6161 (2) congratulates students, parents, teachers, 4
6262 and school leaders from K–12 education environ-5
6363 ments of all varieties for their persistence, achieve-6
6464 ments, dedication, and contributions to society in the 7
