28	28	Expressing support for the designation of the week of Janu-
29	29	ary 26 through February 1, 2025, as ‘‘National School
30	30	Choice Week’’.
31	31	Whereas providing a diversity of choices in K–12 education
32	32	empowers parents to select education environments that
33	33	meet the individual needs and strengths of their children;
34	34	Whereas high-quality K–12 education environments of all va-
35	35	rieties are available in the United States, including tradi-
36	36	tional public schools, public charter schools, public mag-

42	42	Whereas talented teachers and school leaders in each of the
43	43	education environments prepare children to achieve their
44	44	dreams;
45	45	Whereas more families than ever before in the United States
46	46	actively choose the best education for their children;
47	47	Whereas more public awareness of the issue of parental
48	48	choice in education can inform additional families of the
49	49	benefits of proactively choosing challenging, motivating,
50	50	and effective education environments for their children;
51	51	Whereas the process by which parents choose schools for
52	52	their children is nonpolitical, nonpartisan, and deserves
53	53	the utmost respect; and
54	54	Whereas tens of thousands of events are planned to celebrate
55	55	the benefits of educational choice during the 14th annual
56	56	National School Choice Week, held the week of January
57	57	26 through February 1, 2025: Now, therefore, be it
58	58	Resolved, That the House of Representatives— 1
59	59	(1) supports the designation of ‘‘National 2
60	60	School Choice Week’’; 3
61	61	(2) congratulates students, parents, teachers, 4
62	62	and school leaders from K–12 education environ-5
63	63	ments of all varieties for their persistence, achieve-6
64	64	ments, dedication, and contributions to society in the 7
65	65	United States; 8
