2929 ‘‘(z) CERTAINLOGGINGVEHICLES.— 1

3131 N GENERAL.—The Secretary shall waive, 2
3232 for a covered logging vehicle, the application of any 3
3333 vehicle weight limit established under this section. 4
3434 ‘‘(2) A
3535 PPLICATION OF WEIGHT TOLERANCES .— 5
3636 The waiver under this subsection shall only apply 6
3737 with respect to a State legal weight tolerance in ef-7
3838 fect on the date of enactment of this subsection. 8
3939 ‘‘(3) D
4040 EFINITION OF COVERED LOGGING VEHI -9
4141 CLE.—In this subsection, the term ‘covered logging 10
4242 vehicle’ means a vehicle that— 11
4343 ‘‘(A) is transporting raw or unfinished for-12
4444 est products, including logs, pulpwood, biomass, 13
4545 or wood chips; 14
4646 ‘‘(B) is traveling a distance of not more 15
4747 than 150 air miles on the Interstate System 16
4848 from the point of origin to a storage or proc-17
4949 essing facility; and 18
5050 ‘‘(C) meets applicable State legal weight 19
5151 tolerances and vehicle configurations for trans-20
5252 porting raw or unfinished forest products within 21
5353 the boundaries of each State in which the vehi-22
5454 cle is operating.’’. 23
