3333 NGENERAL.—Not later than 2 years after the 5
3434 date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General 6
3535 of the United States shall— 7
3636 (1) conduct a study on the accessibility of sub-8
3737 stance use disorder treatment and mental health 9
3838 care providers and services for farmers and ranch-10
3939 ers; and 11
4040 (2) submit a report containing the results of 12
4141 the study conducted under paragraph (1) to— 13
4242 (A) the Secretary of Agriculture; 14
4343 (B) the Secretary of Health and Human 15
4444 Services; 16
4545 (C) the Committee on Agriculture, Nutri-17
4646 tion, and Forestry of the Senate; 18
4747 (D) the Committee on Health, Education, 19
4848 Labor, and Pensions of the Senate; 20
4949 (E) the Committee on Finance of the Sen-21
5050 ate; 22
5151 (F) the Committee on Agriculture of the 23
5252 House of Representatives; 24
5353 (G) the Committee on Energy and Com-25

6767 trained and dedicated to serve the needs of farmers, 9
6868 ranchers, agricultural workers, and their family 10
6969 members. 11
7070 (2) Barriers and challenges faced by farmers 12
7171 and ranchers in accessing substance use disorder 13
7272 treatment and mental health care and health and 14
7373 wellness resources, including financial, geographic, 15
7474 and cultural barriers. 16
7575 (3) Identification of best practices and success-17
7676 ful programs at the State and local levels that can 18
7777 be replicated at the Federal level to address sub-19
7878 stance use disorder treatment and mental health 20
7979 care needs in agricultural communities, including the 21
8080 following: 22
8181 (A) Hiring and training of substance use 23
8282 disorder treatment and mental health care pro-24
