To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to prohibit
institutions of higher education that authorize antisemitic
events on campus from participating in the student loan
and grant programs under title IV of such Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Stop Antisemitism on 4
College Campuses Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION OF ANTISEMITIC EVENTS ON CAM-1

Section 487(a) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 3
(20 U.S.C. 1094(a)) is amended by adding at the end the 4
following: 5
‘‘(30)(A) The institution will not authorize, fa-6
cilitate, provide funding for, or otherwise support 7
any event promoting antisemitism on campus. 8
‘‘(B) In this paragraph, the term ‘antisemitism’ 9
has the meaning given the working definition of 10
antisemitism adopted by the International Holocaust 11
Remembrance Alliance on May 26, 2016, including 12
the contemporary examples of antisemitism cited by 13
the Alliance.’’. 14
