To authorize major medical facility projects for the Depart-
ment of Veterans Affairs for fiscal year 2025, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Fiscal Year 2025 Vet-4
erans Affairs Major Medical Facility Authorization Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION OF MAJOR MEDICAL FACILITY 6
PROJECTS OF DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS 7
AFFAIRS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025. 8
(a) I
NGENERAL.—The Secretary of Veterans Affairs 9
may carry out the following major medical facility projects 10

in fiscal year 2025 at the locations specified and in an 1
amount for each project not to exceed the amount speci-2
fied for such location: 3
(1) Construction of a new critical care center 4
and central utility plant, demolition, and renovations 5
to building 500 in West Los Angeles, California, in 6
an amount not to exceed $1,460,600,000. 7
(2) Expansion of clinical space for mental 8
health, expansion of parking facilities, and land ac-9
quisition in Dallas, Texas, in an amount not to ex-10
ceed $106,400,000. 11
(b) A
UTHORIZATION OFAPPROPRIATIONS.—There is 12
authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Veterans 13
Affairs for fiscal year 2025 or the year in which funds 14
are appropriated for the Construction, Major Projects ac-15
count, $1,567,000,000 for the projects authorized in sub-16
section (a). 17
