Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Great Lakes Restora-4
tion Initiative Act of 2025’’ or the ‘‘GLRI Act of 2025’’. 5

SEC. 2. GREAT LAKES RESTORATION INITIATIVE REAU-1
THORIZATION. 2
Section 118(c)(7)(J)(i) of the Federal Water Pollu-3
tion Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1268(c)(7)(J)(i)) is amend-4
ed— 5
(1) in subclause (V), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the 6
end; 7
(2) in subclause (VI), by striking the period at 8
the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and 9
(3) by adding at the end the following: 10
‘‘(VII) $500,000,000 for each of 11
fiscal years 2027 through 2031.’’. 12
