To repeal programs relating to funding for electric vehicle
charging infrastructure, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Unplug the Electric 4
Vehicle Charging Stations Programs Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. REPEAL OF CHARGING AND FUELING INFRASTRUC-6
TURE GRANTS. 7
(a) A
UTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—Section 8
11101(b) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act 9
(Public Law 117–58; 135 Stat. 444) is amended— 10

(A) by striking subparagraph (C); and 2

graph (1)(G)’’ and inserting ‘‘paragraph (1)(F)’’. 7

RANTPROGRAM.—Section 151 of title 23, 8
United States Code, is amended— 9
(1) in subsection (e)(2), by striking ‘‘, including 10
through funds awarded through the grant program 11
under subsection (f),’’; and 12
(2) by striking subsection (f). 13
SEC. 3. REPEAL OF NATIONAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE INFRA-14
STRUCTURE FORMULA PROGRAM. 15

ESCISSION.—The unobligated amounts made 16
available under paragraph (2) in the matter under the 17
heading ‘‘
HIGHWAY INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAMS ’’ under 18
the heading ‘‘F
EDERALHIGHWAYADMINISTRATION’’ 19
under the heading ‘‘DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPOR-20
TATION’’ in title VIII of division J of the Infrastructure 21
Investment and Jobs Act (Public Law 117–58; 135 Stat. 22
1419) are rescinded. 23

(b) TERMINATION.—Notwithstanding any other pro-1
vision of law, beginning on the date of enactment of this 2
Act— 3
(1) the program under paragraph (2) in the 4
matter under the heading ‘‘
HIGHWAY INFRASTRUC -5
TURE PROGRAMS ’’ under the heading ‘‘FEDERAL 6
H
IGHWAYADMINISTRATION’’ under the heading 7
‘‘DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION’’ in 8
title VIII of division J of the Infrastructure Invest-9
ment and Jobs Act (Public Law 117–58; 135 Stat. 10
1419) is terminated; and 11
(2) no funds may used to carry out that pro-12
gram. 13
