2222 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
2323 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Protecting Children 4
2424 Over Profits Act’’. 5
2525 SEC. 2. AMENDMENTS. 6
2626 Title 18 of the United States Code is amended— 7

4646 subsection (4)(e), in the penultimate sentence, by in-15
4747 serting ‘‘, except that no provider of electronic com-16
4848 munications service or remote computing service, as 17
4949 defined in section 2711, shall be compensated by the 18
5050 applicant for expenses incurred with respect to infor-19
5151 mation, facilities, or technical assistance relating to 20
5252 child exploitation, as defined in section 2 of the 21
5353 PROTECT Our Children Act of 2008 (34 U.S.C. 22
5454 21101)’’ after ‘‘such facilities or assistance’’; and 23
5555 (3) in section 3124(c), by inserting ‘‘, except 24
5656 that no provider of electronic communications serv-25
