1414 Congratulating the North Dakota State University Bison
1515 football team for winning the 2024 National Collegiate
1616 Athletic Association Division I Football Championship
1717 Subdivision title.
1818 Whereas, on January 6, 2025, the North Dakota State Uni-
1919 versity (NDSU) Bison football team won the 2024 Na-
2020 tional Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I
2121 Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) title game in
2222 Frisco, Texas, in a well-fought victory over the Montana
2323 State University Bobcats by a score of 35–32;
2424 Whereas, including the 2024 NCAA Division I FCS title, the
2525 NDSU Bison have won 18 national football champion-
2626 ships;

3030 Whereas the NDSU Bison have won 10 of the last 14 NCAA
3131 Division I FCS titles, from 2011 to 2024, an achieve-
3232 ment that continues to be unmatched in modern colle-
3333 giate football history;
3434 Whereas the NDSU Bison have displayed tremendous resil-
3535 ience and skill since 2011, with 186 wins to 21 losses,
3636 including a streak of 39 consecutive wins from 2017 to
3737 2021;
3838 Whereas head coach Tim Polasek, his staff, and their vic-
3939 torious student-athletes led the NDSU Bison to a cham-
4040 pionship in his first year as head coach at NDSU, con-
4141 tinuing the culture of excellence of the NDSU Bison;
4242 Whereas thousands of NDSU Bison fans attended the cham-
4343 pionship game in Frisco, Texas, reflecting the tremen-
4444 dous pride and dedication of Bison Nation, which has
4545 supported and helped drive the achievement of the
4646 NDSU Bison; and
4747 Whereas the 2024 NCAA Division I FCS title was a victory
4848 for both the NDSU Bison and the entire State of North
4949 Dakota: Now, therefore, be it
