15	15		This joint resolution of the Legislature proposes to amend the Utah Constitution regarding

17	17		the publication of a proposed constitutional amendment.

21	21		This resolution proposes to amend the Utah Constitution to:

41	41		Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah, two-thirds of all members elected to each

43	43		of the two houses voting in favor thereof:

45	45		Section 1. It is proposed to amend Utah Constitution, Article XXIII, Section 1, to read:

47	47		Article XXIII, Section 1 . [Amendments: proposal, election.]

49	49		Any amendment or amendments to this Constitution may be proposed in either house of

51	51		the Legislature, and if two-thirds of all the members elected to each of the two houses, shall

53	53		vote in favor thereof, such proposed amendment or amendments shall be entered on their

55	55		respective journals with the yeas and nays taken thereon; and the Legislature shall cause the

57	57		same to be published[ in at least one newspaper in every county of the state, where a

59	59		newspaper is published, for two months] , in a manner provided by statute, for 60 calendar days

71	72		Constitution may be proposed as a single amendment and may be submitted to the electors as a

75	76		subjects, and may modify, or repeal provisions contained in other articles of the Constitution,

83	84		The lieutenant governor is directed to submit this proposed amendment to the voters of
