27 | 27 | 1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 8.01-42.6 as follows: | |

31 | 31 | No defendant health care provider shall assert medical malpractice as a defense in any civil action for personal injury against such health care provider arising from conduct prohibited by Article 7 ( 18.2-61 et seq.) of Chapter 4 of Title 18.2, whether or not the health care provider has been charged or convicted of the alleged violation. | |
