That the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia shall send notification to attorneys in the Commonwealth who are qualified as of July 1, 2025, for appointment as a guardian ad litem pursuant to 16.1-266.1 of the Code of Virginia that, if appointed to represent a child who is alleged to be a child in need of services or supervision in accordance with the provisions of 16.1-266 of the Code of Virginia, such attorney should have familiarity with the statutes providing the dispositional alternatives available when a juvenile and domestic relations district court finds that a child is in need of services or supervision. |
