Celebrating the life of James Stuart Weston, MD.

WHEREAS, James Stuart Weston, MD, an esteemed physician, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and treasured member of the Radford community, died on September 21, 2024; and
WHEREAS, after growing up in West Long Branch, New Jersey, James Weston earned a bachelor's degree, as well as a master's degree in genetics, from George Washington University before graduating from the University of Virginia School of Medicine; and
WHEREAS, James Weston specialized in obstetrics and gynecology and completed his residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, before embarking upon a long and successful career as a physician; and
WHEREAS, James Weston's steadfast compassion and unwavering commitment to his patients and their families made a positive and lasting impact on countless lives; and
WHEREAS, James Weston will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Tamara; his children, Ryan, Jillian, Sean, Caitlin, and Liam, and their families; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of James Stuart Weston, MD, a cherished member of the Radford community whose kindness, generosity, and devotion inspired all who knew him; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of James Stuart Weston, MD, as an expression of the General Assembly's respect for his memory.
