15	19		WHEREAS, Grant Holloway, a native of Chesapeake, represented the Commonwealth at the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris, France, winning a gold medal for Team USA in the men's 110-meter hurdles event; and

23	27		WHEREAS, Grant Holloway has previously won gold medals at the 2019, 2022, and 2023 International Association of Athletics Federations World Athletics Championships and a silver medal in the men's 110-meter hurdles event at the 2020 Summer Olympics; and

25	29		WHEREAS, returning to the Olympics with a renewed focus, Grant Holloway was the undisputed leader in the men's 110-meter hurdles event at Paris 2024, winning his first-round heat by 0.21 seconds and his semifinal by 0.19 seconds; and

31	35		RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Grant Holloway on winning a gold medal at the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in 2024; and, be it
