1519 WHEREAS, in 2024, Torri Huske of Arlington represented the Commonwealth at the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris, France, and finished as the most decorated member of Team USA with three gold medals and two silver medals in swimming events; and

1721 WHEREAS, born and raised in Arlington, Torri Huske began swimming at the Arlington Aquatic Club at the age of six and subsequently graduated from Yorktown High School, where she was inducted into the Yorktown Hall of Fame and Inspiration; and

1923 WHEREAS, over the course of her early swimming career, Torri Huske was named as a National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association All-American 29 times; and

2125 WHEREAS, currently a student at Stanford University, Torri Huske has participated in numerous national and international competitions and earned multiple gold medals at the World Aquatics Championships and the World Aquatics Swimming Championships; and

2327 WHEREAS, Torri Huske made her Olympic debut at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, where she won a silver medal in the women's 4x100-meter medley relay; and

2529 WHEREAS, at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Torri Huske won gold medals in the women's 100-meter butterfly, the women's 4x100-meter medley relay, and the 4x100-meter mixed medley relay; she also earned two silver medals in the women's 100-meter freestyle and women's 4x100-meter freestyle relay; and

3135 RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Torri Huske on winning three gold medals and two silver medals at the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in 2024; and, be it
